Animals To Choose To Sponsor:
ROO - a sweet boy, although a handful!
This is lovely Roo. He is very much a handful, but he is also a wonderful, bouncy, affectionate boy who soooo loves his toys, which he usually demolishes! He was lucky enough to come across a friend at a local police station who directed him in my direction and he has been here ever since. Roo was obviosly hit before coming here and he still has many issues. He is always up to mischeif though and is a happy boy here and i am glad to have him around to keep me busy, he is a fab boy who would love to be sponsored!
COLIN - a handsome FIV positive boy.
This gorgeous big boy is Colin. He was a stray who was coming for food at a friends house. When he was rescued he had a broken toe with exposed bone and blood tests showed that he was also FIV positive which means he has a virus that is similar to HIV in people (people can NOT catch it from cats). Cats can have the virus for many years without getting ill, as this lovely boy is doing, and will hopefully do for many years to come.
Colin would be so very proud to be sponsored!
CELESTE - a pretty little disabled girl.
Disabled girl Celeste travelled to Pawprints from Romania after being hit by a car by her owner which left her unable to walk properly. Instead of taking her to a vet her owner, a priest, dumped her in the woods, from where she crawled back home only to be dumped in the woods again. Luckily a kind woman found her and rescued her and got her to a Romanian Rescue where at last her injuries were treated. She still cannot walk properly so will have wheels to help her go for walks, but she is a happy and brave little girl. She would feel very special if she was sponsored!
PRINCESS - a brave little brain damaged girl.
This wonderful girl is Princess. She came to Pawprints from a local veterinary clinic where she had been taken in as a stray in awful condition. She is brain-damaged, has a really wobbly walk, has no lips and had to have the end of her tail amputated. Luckily a very lovely nurse at the clinic saw how brave and strong Princess was and she worked hard to find her a forever home.
Despite her disabilities Princess is one of the happiest cats I have known, and she copes wonderfully, she is a little treasure! She would be so excited if she was sponsored!
